Matte and PPF Ceramic Coating (60 mL)
Ceramic protection — without the gloss. Shields matte paint and PPF from dirt, debris, and UV while keeping that flat, factory-fresh look.
What is APEX Matte & PPF Ceramic Coating?
APEX Matte and PPF Ceramic Coating is a specialized coating for the one finish a normal ceramic would ruin: matte paint and paint protection film. A standard coating adds gloss — the last thing a matte or satin finish wants. This one protects without changing the look.
It forms a robust, invisible layer that shields matte and PPF surfaces from dirt, road debris, and UV rays — helping prevent fading and damage — while preserving the distinctive, non-reflective appearance. For detailers and owners of wrapped or matte vehicles, it is a must-have. This is a professional product: prep the surface, apply with a suede applicator, and keep it dry for 48 hours while it cures.

Why it works
Matte and wrapped vehicles have a problem: most protection products would ruin the look. A normal ceramic or wax adds gloss, which destroys the whole point of a matte or satin finish.
This coating is the specialist answer. It lays down the same kind of durable, hydrophobic, UV-blocking protection a glossy coating gives — but engineered to leave the finish completely flat.
What it protects
Matte and satin paint, and paint protection film (PPF). Not intended for glossy finishes — use a standard ceramic coating for those.
How to use
1. Ensure the surface is clean and corrections are done; prep with a surface spray to remove oils.
2. Apply with a suede applicator to a 3x3 ft area in a crosshatch pattern.
3. Let it become tacky, then buff excess with a suede or low-nap microfiber.
4. Keep dry for 48 hours. Never apply in sun or on a hot surface.
Application & cautions
Prep with a surface spray. Strip oils and residue first so the coating bonds evenly.
3x3 ft sections. Crosshatch pattern, slight overlap, then buff before it sets too far.
Seeing application lines? If the crosshatch and overlap leave visible lines, switch to working the product on in small circles to even it out.
48-hour cure. Keep it dry for two days, avoid sun and hot panels, and a second coat (if wanted) needs an hour between applications.

This coating is purpose-built for matte paint and paint protection film. Make sure the surface is clean and corrected, then use a surface prep spray to strip oils before applying. Work a 3x3 foot area at a time with a suede applicator, gloves on, out of direct sun. Keep it away from water for 48 hours while it cures, and test a hidden area first to gauge cure time.
