What is APEX Pristine Polish?

APEX Pristine Polish is a one-step, professional-grade polish that corrects paint defects and finishes to a high gloss in a single product. It removes the oxidation, staining, hazing, and swirl marks that dull a finish — and can take out up to 1,000-grit sanding scratches.

The abrasives are designed to break down with heat as you work: they cut aggressively at first to remove defects, then refine into a finishing polish for clarity — no second product needed. The result is a reflective surface that's ready to receive a coating, sealant, or wax. Safe on clear coat, single stage, and lacquer; body-shop safe and VOC compliant.

  • Type: One-step correcting polish
  • Removes: Swirls, oxidation, hazing
  • Cuts: Up to 1,000-grit scratches
  • Use with: Machine + polishing pad
  • Preps for: Coating, sealant, or wax
  • Safe on: Clear coat, single stage, lacquer

Why it works

Most paint doesn't need new paint — it needs correction. Swirls, oxidation, and haze scatter light and make a finish look tired. Polishing levels them so light reflects cleanly again.

Traditionally that meant a compound, then a polish, then a finishing pass. A true one-step like this does the cutting and the refining in a single product as the abrasives break down.

What it works on

Clear Coat
Single Stage
Lacquer

Clear coat, single stage, and lacquer paints. Use a machine with a polishing or finishing pad for the best correction and gloss.

How to use

1. Start with clean, dry, decontaminated paint.

2. Apply a few dots of polish to a polishing or finishing pad.

3. Work a small section by machine. When the polish turns from white to clear, the abrasives have broken down — stop and wipe.

4. Wipe the residue, inspect, and protect with a coating, sealant, or wax.

Polishing tips

Watch for white-to-clear. As you work a section, the polish turns from white to clear once the abrasives break down — that's the cue to stop, wipe, and inspect.

Small sections. Work roughly 2x2 ft at a time so the polish stays workable and you keep control.

Match the pad to the goal. A polishing pad for more correction, a finishing pad for maximum gloss.

Always protect after. Bare, freshly polished paint should be sealed with a coating, sealant, or wax.

How it works

Diminishing abrasives

1
It cuts first. As you start working a section, the abrasives are at their most aggressive, leveling the defects that dull your paint.
2
Heat breaks them down. As they work, the abrasives shrink and refine, transitioning from correction into a fine finishing action. Watch the polish itself: when it turns from white to clear, that's your signal the abrasives have broken down — time to wipe and check your work.
3
You're left with gloss. The result is a clear, reflective finish — ready to lock in with a coating, sealant, or wax.

Green Detailer

I’ve purchased and used many Apex products. All have been excellent and better than the larger brands with big marketing budgets…by a long way.

The green detailer is my favorite for every drive use cleaning between washes. Flex and seal (the red stuff) is excellent for intermittent protection over my apex ceramic 5 year.

I love supporting a small American 🇺🇸 business with true enthusiasts like Alex and John. They have been great with questions and product suggestions.

Hey Bernard, thank you so much for your kind words and review. We appreciate your support of our business!

Great polish

this is a great pad dependent polish I've used it and it leaves a extremely glossy finish and super easy to work with very low dusting.

Good to know

Common questions

What does it remove?
Oxidation, staining, hazing, and swirl marks — and up to 1,000-grit sanding scratches — for a clear, reflective finish.
Is it really one step?
Yes. The abrasives break down with heat as you work — cutting first, then refining into a finishing polish — so one product both corrects and finishes.
How do I know when to stop polishing?
Watch the polish. It starts out white and turns clear as the abrasives break down — that color change is your cue that the section is done. Stop, wipe the residue, and check your work.
What paint is it safe on?
Clear coat, single stage, and lacquer. It's body-shop safe and VOC compliant.
Do I need a machine?
For best results, yes — use a machine with a polishing or finishing pad. It's haze-free and low-dust with easy cleanup.
Can I coat or wax over it?
Yes — it leaves a high-gloss finish that's ready to receive a ceramic coating, sealant, or wax.
