Clay Mitt - Medium/Heavy Grade

Using a clay mitt is a crucial step when preparing for a paint correction and coating of your choice (wax, sealant, graphene, etc.) A clay mitt is used to remove all of the surface contaminants from your paint and glass that the naked eye cannot see.

You use a clay mitt by lubricating the surface with Quick Detailer and rubbing every section of the car that you plan on paint correcting and coating. As you rub, the clay pulls the contaminants off of the paint. This will leave you with a clean, smooth surface that is ready for a paint correction. Without a clayed surface, a buffer would grind those contaminants into the paint causing swirls. 

The APEX Clay Mitt - Medium/Heavy Grade is more efficient than a clay bar because it has an increased surface area, meaning you can clay faster and save time. This clay mitt can be used on 30-40 vehicles and is able to be washed off if it is dropped onto the ground, unlike clay bars that must be thrown away.
